Regarding the management of the subsidiaries, over the year, we once again saw a period of water shortage in Chile’s central region, a phenomenon that has already experienced its sixth year and is becoming a structural process rather than a cyclical one. Faced with this scenario, the Group has proactively managed the situation in order to make sure that clients’ supply is not affected. This anti-drought plan has contemplated investments to increase uptake and the implementation of agreements for joint management of the resource with the main users of the Maipo River, the main source of raw water catchment for our sanitation companies. It is through this that we could ensure supply, quality, and continuity to all clients in the Metropolitan Region.
